Please bring official Google Fast Pair support to Windows PCs

I strongly encourage Google to work with Microsoft to bring official Google Fast Pair support to Windows 10, Windows 11, and future versions of Windows.

Millions of people use an Android phone alongside a Windows PC. Right now, they can get a seamless Fast Pair experience on supported Android devices and Chromebooks, but that experience largely stops when they move to a Windows computer.

I believe Google and Microsoft could make Android + Windows feel like a much more connected ecosystem without replacing Microsoft's existing Bluetooth or Swift Pair features.

What I would like to see

Google Fast Pair on Windows should support:

• The familiar Google Fast Pair nearby-device pop-up
• Fast and simple pairing for Pixel Buds and other Fast Pair-certified headphones, earbuds, trackers, and accessories
• Google Account association for compatible devices
• Automatic recognition of previously paired Google/Fast Pair accessories
• Seamless switching between an Android phone, tablet, and Windows PC where supported
• Automatic reconnection when moving between devices
• Google Find Hub integration for compatible trackers and accessories
• A Google device-management experience within Windows
• Firmware updates and device settings for supported Google accessories
• Support for Pixel Buds and future Google hardware
• Clear integration between the user's Google account, Android devices, and Windows PC

This should complement Microsoft Swift Pair

I am not asking Microsoft to remove or replace Swift Pair.

Windows could continue using Swift Pair for Microsoft's ecosystem and other Bluetooth devices while Google Fast Pair provides the Google ecosystem experience for Android users and compatible accessories.

That would give users more choice instead of forcing them to choose between ecosystems.

Why this matters

For someone who owns an Android phone and a Windows laptop, it can feel strange that a Google accessory can provide such a seamless experience with Android but lose much of that convenience when connected to Windows.

Google Fast Pair on Windows could make products such as Pixel Buds and future Google accessories significantly more useful to people who do not own a Chromebook.

It could also make Windows a better companion platform for Android users without requiring users to switch operating systems.

I would love to see Google and Microsoft work together on an official solution rather than relying on unofficial workarounds, third-party applications, or complicated Bluetooth setup.

Please consider making official Google Fast Pair for Windows a real feature and working with Microsoft to bring it to Windows PCs.

I would absolutely use this feature, and I believe many Android + Windows users would benefit from it.
