BCI 1.4.0-beta introduces a major evolution in temporal Bitcoin network observability.
This release expands BCI from a rolling network telemetry instrument into a deeper chain-time observatory capable of revealing miner behavioral drift across rolling day/week windows and full difficulty-adjustment cycles.
Highlights
Miner Trend Observability
BCI now includes a new [M] Trend panel inside the Blockchain section.
This system compares:
allowing operators to observe:
Importantly, BCI does not preload synthetic historical data.
The trend panel matures naturally through witnessed chain-time. Operators will see the system gradually awaken as enough blocks are locally observed.
Hashphase Cycle Polish
The Hashphase system received significant refinement:
At 100% hashphase completion, the cycle now:
bright white flash
→ settles into dark gray
representing the release/reset of accumulated proof-of-work energy across the completed cycle.
Hashrate On Demand
Operators can now press:
for an estimated 144-block network hashrate popup.
The popup includes:
Operator Experience Refinement
1.4.0-beta also introduces:
BCI continues moving toward a calmer, observatory-style terminal experience focused on:
observe patiently
rather than reactive dashboard noise.
Philosophy
BCI remains intentionally:
The network reveals itself gradually. BCI simply reveals it patiently.
