From eb18567504366de20558d12437f8aabee11ef008 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Daniel Ehrhardt Date: Thu, 8 Oct 2026 12:07:29 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 1/3] Add tasks for the human: agents hand over what only the human can do Agents give the human a task with human_task_create (title, steps, link). It waits on the human's own list with a notification and a Needs you item; closing it (done or can't do it) continues the agent's chat with the note. A board ticket waits in Blocked until then. Agents can list and take back their tasks; the human can add, move, edit and delete their own. --- packages/core/src/cloud/scope.ts | 3 + packages/core/src/db/migrations.ts | 33 ++ packages/core/src/index.ts | 3 + packages/core/src/mcp/tools.ts | 60 +++ packages/core/src/mobile/scope.ts | 6 + packages/core/src/runner/prompt.ts | 14 +- packages/core/src/runner/runner.ts | 6 +- packages/core/src/server/app.ts | 2 + packages/core/src/server/routes/humanTasks.ts | 56 +++ packages/core/src/services/attention.ts | 22 +- packages/core/src/services/heartbeats.ts | 2 +- packages/core/src/services/humanTasks.ts | 449 ++++++++++++++++++ packages/core/src/tasks/service.ts | 33 +- packages/core/test/fixtures/fake-claude.ts | 10 +- packages/core/test/human-tasks.test.ts | 197 ++++++++ packages/shared/src/activity.ts | 6 + packages/shared/src/attention.ts | 10 +- packages/shared/src/events.ts | 2 + packages/shared/src/humanTasks.ts | 98 ++++ packages/shared/src/index.ts | 1 + packages/shared/src/models.ts | 2 + packages/shared/src/tasks.ts | 8 +- 22 files changed, 1009 insertions(+), 14 deletions(-) create mode 100644 packages/core/src/server/routes/humanTasks.ts create mode 100644 packages/core/src/services/humanTasks.ts create mode 100644 packages/core/test/human-tasks.test.ts create mode 100644 packages/shared/src/humanTasks.ts diff --git a/packages/core/src/cloud/scope.ts b/packages/core/src/cloud/scope.ts index 4a8dcea5..a66a0796 100644 --- a/packages/core/src/cloud/scope.ts +++ b/packages/core/src/cloud/scope.ts @@ -258,6 +258,9 @@ const RULES: [methods: string, path: string, rule: Rule][] = [ ["GET", "/api/questions", A], ["GET", "/api/questions/:id", A], ["POST", "/api/questions/:id/answer", A], + ["GET|POST", "/api/human-tasks", A], + ["GET|PATCH|DELETE", "/api/human-tasks/:id", A], + ["POST", "/api/human-tasks/:id/close", A], ["POST", "/api/tasks/archive", A], ["POST", "/api/tasks/attachments", A], ["GET", "/api/tasks/attachments/:id/:name", A], diff --git a/packages/core/src/db/migrations.ts b/packages/core/src/db/migrations.ts index e929a174..24c172e0 100644 --- a/packages/core/src/db/migrations.ts +++ b/packages/core/src/db/migrations.ts @@ -1200,6 +1200,39 @@ ALTER TABLE workspaces ADD COLUMN auto_merge INTEGER NOT NULL DEFAULT 0; sql: /* sql */ ` -- 1: the runner gets this computer's Godmode by itself when it runs another one (remote/runnerUpdates.ts).
