Yes, choke is supported. With "rim/pos" you can enable/disable the functionality.
Yes, this is possible. The CY6 pad type is configured by default to use choke. |

The edge and choke of my cymbals are now working. Another question is, is CY6 hooked in edrumulus really detect the bow, edge and choke? Upon my testing, even if i hit my pad softly, it is the edge (midi 49) that is detected. But the bow is not even working. Is the edrumulus functions like the roland in terms of detecting the bow and edge function? I hope for your response. Thank you! |

After some testing. It seems that there are only two options i have. It's either i have a bow-edge detection or a edge-choke detection. When i set the rim/pos to rim only, then everything on cy6 is by default, the bow and edge works fine. But no choke is detected when i pinch the edge of the cymbals. But when i put the note 50 on note rim 2, the choke is working but the edge is not working anymore. I think the code of note-on is overriding the aftertouch function so it sends a note-on and note-of the time the edge switch is detected. |

So i tested also my two zone hihats, but it only detects only one zone. It cannot detect the bow and edge. I don't know why is that. But the code shows that the hihat has 2 zones since it use 2 gpio pins. Can you help me, am i missing something? |

Update again. The bow-edge is both now working on the cymbals and hihat and bow bell on ride. The only thing that doesn't work is the choke function. I don't know why the aftertouch is not detected by ezdrummer as choke |

Does Edrumulus support choke function?
Since i am using a Piezo/Switch (like roland cy6) where in the settings i can set the switch input? Or i just need to use the cy6 pad on the gui and hook it to the stereo cymbal input on edrumulus
