create frozen styles

style mutation has caused issues in the beginning that are hard to debug.
introduce frozen styles with the ability to modify with a deep copy.
colors already do that.

i marked this as good first issue, its not as easy as other since styles are used in many places this can potentially consume some time, but not much new logic is required.
