Run experiments with two branches

For my bootstrap experiments, I had to use the ice branch of ECHAM, as the main wiso would give me repeated errors with missing binaries. Now, I would like to continue the experiment from this bootstrap, however, using wiso.

To do so, is it correct to?

1. git checkout wiso on echam
2. Apply branch-off instructions from echam and fesom as:

Hi @fernandadialzira, esm-tools copies the model binaries instead of rebuilding them, so make sure that you compile the wiso branch.

To be on the safe side, I recommend you to make a check run (--check) with verbosity on (--verbose). This will generate a long list of output so you need to redirect it. Eg.
esm_runscripts -e test --check --verbose your_script.yaml &>check.log

You can then search for the model binary in the log file and verify the files. It will show you the source and target paths.
