Question about HD videos.

I saw some of videos have 720p max resolution in yt2009. Interestingly, most of those have 1080p or sometimes with even higher option when viewed from Youtube. I assume this is something going on youtube side, but why actually those are unavailable on yt2009?

assuming we're talking about the html5 quality picker, hd_1080 shows higher qualities (actually next update in the works lifts that restriction), if you see other videos even with that flag that max at 720p anyways (particularly modern vids) you can thank sabr for that

I wanted to ask about case like this. And those were for all player has quality picker including flash from my observation. For example, v=P7XLSkQEEf0 has highest resolution as 1080p on YT, but that quality couldn't found with yt2009 any mean.

yes, this is caused by sabr-related issues when removing request params causing those qualities to not show up, also is the reason you may not see 60fps qualities for videos, this is known but no proper fix for now

update: a flag will be added next update to enable the missing qualities for use in combination with exp_turbocharge and sabr.
