the option for annotations is not labeled, but it is under the expander where you enable captions, it's the first one. they've been a thing in yt2009 for some time by now, in flash, make sure you're not using compatibility fixes to have an option to enable them. you can test on a video like this one: https://youtu.be/29-q7YnyUmY |

btw, thanks for the sponsor! if you want to have a heart badge next to your youtube channel name on videos you upload for some time, feel free to send a link here |

I just found it. So are they still at unused part of YT, or does it using external archive? My channel is here. Does it also apply for one-month sponsorship? |

yes, as per descriptions on the tiers, your amount does give a badge on
videos made by you when played through yt2009 for a limited time (i usually
extend it tho)

Talking about that, can modern in-video links be implemented by converting to those annotations? Is it just technically impossible? |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Trying to look at flash player, I recently found there was browser extension that revives YT annotations which is just gone from YT on 2019. I thought this wasn't thing at 2009, but default player also had option mentioning annotation. As they have github page, I think you can contact them if you think this is worth to be implemented.
