Gemini is LLM solution provided by Google. To interact with it you need to make HTTP requests. To use this package you need HTTP client to make those requests.

If you are willing to not use HTTP client and write your own HTTP requests (curl possibly?) then you might as well not use this package and interact with Gemini REST API directly.

My reply is still true. As I said, you can write your own requests and interact with Gemini REST API. The code you provided seems to do exactly that. In that case you don't need this package and HTTP client.

The whole idea of an SDK is to not write these lines yourself. It provides you an abstraction that's much more readable and easier to maintain.
