Product differences

If you've used {{site.data.keyword.openpages_short}} on premises, {{site.data.keyword.openpages_short}} on Cloud Pak for Data, or {{site.data.keyword.openpages_short}} on Cloud, you'll notice some differences in {{site.data.keyword.openpages_full}}.

The following features are currently not supported in {{site.data.keyword.openpages_full}}:

  • Global Search
  • Integration with {{site.data.keyword.cognosanalytics_short}}
  • Filtering on long string fields (full-text search)
  • Custom code, including custom workflow actions, custom triggers, custom helpers (JSPs), and custom jobs in the Scheduler
  • The ability to open and edit Microsoft Office files directly from {{site.data.keyword.openpages_short}}
  • Notification Manager
  • Loss Event Entry
  • SDI Connectors
  • Connector for Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence (TRRI)
  • The ability to configure the hierarchical condition on security rules for Record Level Security Rules and Field Level Security Rules
