Are you using Medley Interlisp or developing software with it? Please post your screenshots here. We'd love to see how you use the system and what you create with it. Feel free to add a few words on what the screenshots show but please don't discuss them further as this space is primarily meant as an image gallery. For commentary it's better to create new discussions.

By posting your images here you agree to distribute them under the Medley Interlisp Project license.

Thank you!

This is a work in progress: I'm adding a menu and a prompt window to Stringscope, a string listing tool similar to Unix strings I'm writing in Interlisp.

It's a lifestyle.

[pamoroso]

Love it, the style reminds me of Gustave Doré's illustrations of Dante's Divine Comedy.

I know what you're doing! You want me to interlispart something actually good. Well, I'll have you know that I will.

I used to code demos for small competitions in another lifetime.
So, question is, is Medley suitable for an Oldskool Demoscene effect?
You bet! (Compile first)

[pamoroso]

Way cool!

I had an idea late one night to produce a successive transparency effect (kind of fading away).
It came out very well. Normally you can keep writing transparent rectangles over the last screen buffer without erasing but Medley had no alpha channels so something clever had to be done. :)

Code for the effect on the right... (click the image so you get a full screen without artifacts)

[pamoroso]

Very cool!

Just a drawing made with the bitmap editor. I didn't really do anything interesting to make it but I'm having fun trying to learn more about Medley.

[pamoroso]

Nice background too.

Thanks!

[pamoroso]

Really nice, thanks.

[nbriggs]

Wow. I hope you're saving your bitmaps to a file so you can easily keep them.

[sickcallfuu]

@pamoroso Thanks!
@nbriggs Yep! I've been saving them in lisp files.

I think I'll start working on the Paint program as desired in the wishlist provided by Paolo.
I've taken time to study MacPaint but also know of a few more powerful features I'd like from GrafX2.
I'm not promising anything just yet but as a substrate this works - no skipping on drawing.

[pamoroso]

It's a good start.

[RyanBurnside]

Finally getting around to playing with CLISP.
It seems that : must now be escaped. (Due to Common Lisp package character collision?)
I was happy to see a more compact form of record accessor (bottom).

[pamoroso]

Yes, : must now be escaped but probably not in the old Interlist Exec.
