I seriously doubt this would work. The architectures are too different. I also remember that Microbin did not have authentication at all. Not sure if that is still the case. Personally I am not a frontend dev and I am not sure whether adding it would fit into the design philosophy of this project. Maybe orhun can give his input on this as well. P.S.: I'll move this conversation since it is more a discussion than an issue. |

Hey, yeah... I'm not so sure about this. I'm afraid it might end up with more maintenance burden. Right now I'm pretty happy with the stability of Thanks for bringing this up as an idea though! |

Hello!
I've just stumbled across this, and it looks pretty neat.
I've been running https://github.com/szabodanika/microbin on a personal server myself, and at a glance it looks like it might make sense to put that project and yours together in a backend/frontend kind of way.
To elaborate on what I see:
This makes me wonder if the front-end of Microbin could be put on top of Rustypaste, to make a all-in-one simple personal pastebin that can be used from the terminal and browser.
I realise that this is quite a bit of work, and a major change. I'm raising in case you think this could be a fun idea, and because while Microbin is in good shape, it's no longer actively maintained.
Regardless, it's fun to see more work in the lightweight personal pastebin space 🙂
