SuperLocalMemory 4.0 is now available as a public arXiv preprint:
SuperLocalMemory 4.0: The Governed Memory Operating System for AI Agents
https://arxiv.org/abs/2608.08253
The paper's central engineering argument is simple: once durable memory can influence a later agent decision, memory becomes operational state. Teams need more than similarity search. They need governed admission, inspectable writes, verifiable completion, traceable recall, explicit locality boundaries, and deliberate correction and erasure paths.
This is the fourth paper in the SuperLocalMemory research line:
All four are public preprints. Experimental claims remain scoped to the version and protocol reported in the relevant paper; they are not generic superiority claims.

The question I would value feedback on from maintainers and platform engineers: what evidence would you require before allowing durable agent memory to influence a production workflow?
