The Intel Fortran compiler supports querying if a directory exists (which is usually unsupported ... might work with most compilers ;) ). fparser does not allow these options (see https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/fortran-compiler/developer-guide-reference/2024-2/obtain-file-information-inquire-statement.html)
This is required for using Fab with jules and an intel compiler.
