I am a software developer from Thailand with a strong interest in Islamic knowledge and educational technology. I enjoy building software and websites that help people access beneficial Islamic knowledge. One of my personal goals is to make authentic hadith more accessible to Thai-speaking Muslims.
Your purpose in using this API:
project : Halalsys.com
I would like to build a Thai-language website that allows people to search and read authentic hadith.
Since many Thai Muslims cannot easily understand English, I plan to integrate automatic translation (initially using Google Translate) so readers can access the content in Thai, while clearly indicating that the translation is machine-generated.
I also want to use the API for my own study of hadith and to deepen my understanding of Islam.
In the long term, I hope to develop this project into a free public resource that collects and organizes authentic Islamic knowledge for the benefit of the community.
API Rate Limits
Maximum requests per second:
Maximum requests per day
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
Initially, an offline dump would be sufficient for my project.
However, if programmatic API access is available, I would prefer using the API because it will allow me to keep the hadith database up to date more easily.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
