[BUG] High contrast is not available/detected in version 152.0.4 #212
Browser (please complete the following information):
OS: Windows 10 LTSC 2021
Version: r3dFox 152.0.4
The high-contrast mode in Windows no longer applies and does not seem to be detected when opening the browser, as it was before. It reappears correctly whenever you change the Contrast settings (switching from automatic to off or vice versa) or the theme (switching from one theme to another). If I close the browser and reopen it, the problem reappears
To Reproduce
Enable high contrast in Windows settings, or via WinClassicThemeConfig, or via the Windhawk “Fake High Contrast” mod.
Expected behavior
High contrast should be detected and applied immediately, without having to change any settings.
This bug is an serious issue starting with Windows 8 and later versions of Windows when using the Aerolite theme in high-contrast mode or the Classic theme, because it prevents system colors from being applied to the toolbars and tabs

I tested the version of Firefox for Windows 7 that you mentioned, with various themes and in high-contrast mode, on Windows 7 SP1. The bug does not occur; the high-contrast mode is detected correctly.
However, when I tried (also on Windows 7 SP1) r3dfox (the same version as the one described in my bug report) with the same themes, the bug did occur: high-contrast mode is only detected after changing a theme setting in r3dfox (light/dark, change theme, etc.).
In my first comment, I stated that the bug was particularly significant starting with Windows 8. In fact, it’s just as significant in Windows 7, since Firefox (and its derivatives) without high contrast simply ignore the system colors (and since this is the case for quite a few current programs, the classic theme in Windows 7 is much more consistent when used with high contrast mode).

Does it work with this fork?

Can you go through the previous versions of r3dfox, and find the last version to work with high contrast pls?
