[BUG] Empty folder Mozilla\Mozilla Update in ProgramData on Disc C, when using portable version. #219
I don't know if its's bug or something with portable version, but every time I open portable r3dfox browser, and turn off my PC, and turn it on the next day, and run the browser, there is always empty folder named Mozilla/Mozilla update in ProgramData folder on Disc C, even though I use portable version, it shouldn't be there, I delete it, but always appear everytime I turn on my PC and run my portable browser on Win7, is this bug or just standard behavior of Mozilla based browser ?
I should have the updater plumbing disabled through an official compile flag, so if it's still making a folder like that, it's a Mozilla bug. I'll look into it and see what I can find, but if I don't come up with much then I'll open a bugzilla about it.
That directory (Mozilla-1de4eec8-1241-4177-a864-e594e8d1fb38) is there for me, too, but on the older r3dfox version I'm running under Vista SP2 (32-bit), it contains (at the moment, at least 😉 ) below .INI file:
where Ιδιωτική περιήγηση Greek for Private Browsing 😉 ; I understand the r3dfox "portabilisation" code originates from MyPal68 (that mainly targets WinXP SP3 32-bit), so, perhaps, this is a bug/oversight from MyPal68 ???
