[Bug]: Inconsistent hover effect on social media icons in dark mode #872

Open

Description

@pari-dubey1

🐞 Description

There is a styling inconsistency in the hover effects for the social media icons located in the website's footer. Under the "CONNECT WITH US" section, the GitHub icon displays a background highlight on hover, but this visual feedback is missing for the LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube icons. This creates an inconsistent user experience.

✅ Expected Behavior

All social media icons in the footer should have a uniform hover effect. When a user hovers over any icon, its background block should highlight, providing consistent visual feedback across all links.

Actual Behavior

Only the GitHub icon has a background highlight on hover. The other social icons lack this effect.

Visual Evidence

The provided screen recording clearly demonstrates that the hover effect is only applied to the GitHub icon link.
