Notes

SteerPlane is an open-source (MIT) runtime guardrail layer for AI agents: loop detection, per-run cost ceilings, and allow/deny rules for tool calls. It ships Python and TypeScript SDKs, a gateway and a dashboard. Install with pip install steerplane. I am the author of the project. If Middleware is not the right category, I am happy to move it (AI Gateway would be the alternative).
