Hi @StealthTensor, nice to meet you. I'm afraid is too late for a sensible feedback from the potential mentors and for meaningful contributions on your side before the submission deadline. Just follow the applicant instructions, fill the required form and take a look at https://github.com/orgs/JdeRobot/discussions/383. |

Hey @jmplaza 👋
I'm Trinai, a CS student specializing in Python and C++, and I'm officially applying for Project #3: Power Tower Inspection using deep learning.
I just completed my Technical Demo Challenge (Follow Line) using the local RADI Docker environment here: https://youtu.be/vzw2Bxr7ePY
I'm currently finalizing my proposal. Because of my C++ and systems background, I'm designing an architecture that focuses heavily on Procedural Synthetic Data Generation—using Gazebo to dynamically spawn randomized defects on the towers so we can programmatically generate infinite, auto-labeled training datasets for the PyTorch models.
I know we are in the final 48 hours, but I've linked my draft proposal here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/187A147HwqmuUkExiW0Ds0bhju8noqLhXTUFSrssZLoY/edit?usp=sharing
I would be massively grateful for any quick vibe-check or feedback on my approach to extending the Simple API before the portal closes! Excited to contribute.
