Sketch anonymizer

A Python-based tool for anonymizing people images through segmentation and sketch-style rendering. The pipeline preserves pose and interaction context while removing biometric facial details.

Here is an example of what the sketch-anonymization can do!

Me, at my computer, pretending to be focused on the implementation of this repo. Same image of me at my computer, with a red-ish mask overlayed to my (i.e. person) outline. Same image of me at my computer, with the person overlayed with a sketch-style rendering.

Installation

  • Download or clone the repo
  • Install the requirements with
pip install -r requirements.txt

Use

Go through the sketch_anonymizer notebook to upload an image, and overlay people with their sketch-style rendering.

The notebook also provides support for blur anonymization of videos. Here is an example of video blur-anonymization:

Short video of me walking around in lab. Short video of me walking around in lab, with blurred face region.
