V-Bot Web is a next-generation chess automation framework that uses Web DOM Interaction instead of computer vision. By reading the internal HTML of Chess.com, it achieves 100% state accuracy regardless of themes or resolutions.
- 100% Reliable Detection: Directly reads piece positions from the webpage source code.
- Theme Independent: Works perfectly with any Chess.com theme, including "Ultra Black."
- Manual Control: You can move pieces and interact with the site normally until you activate the bot.
- Stealth Movement: Still uses human-like mouse dragging for execution to maintain account safety.
This bot requires the Stockfish Chess Engine to analyze moves.
- Download Stockfish:
- Go to Stockfish Download Page.
- Download the version for Windows (e.g., "Stockfish 16.1").
- Installation:
- Create a folder named
stockfishat the root of this project. - Extract the downloaded zip and place the
.exefile inside.
- Create a folder named
- Path Configuration:
- By default, the bot looks for:
stockfish/stockfish-windows-x86-64-avx2.exe. - If your filename is different, update the path in
src/orchestrator.py:self.engine = ChessEngine(r"stockfish\votre_nom_fichier.exe")
- By default, the bot looks for:
-
Install Dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
-
Launch the Bot GUI:
python main.py
-
Click "LAUNCH DEBUG CHROME": This will open a new Chrome window with remote debugging enabled.
-
Log in to Chess.com: In that new window, go to Chess.com and log in to your account.
-
Start Bot: Once you are in a game, click START BOT in the V-Bot window.
main.py: Entry point for the application.src/: Contains all the source code modules.orchestrator.py: Core logic for game synchronization.web_vision.py: DOM-based piece detection.engine.py: Stockfish engine wrapper.ui.py: CustomTkinter GUI.
stockfish/: Directory where the Stockfish executable should be placed.data/: Stores local settings and logs.
web_vision.py: Selenium-based bridge that attaches to the debug port and parses thechess-boardDOM elements.orchestrator.py: Manages the synchronization between the live webpage and the Stockfish engine.controller.py: Translates DOM coordinates to screen coordinates and executes organic mouse paths.
The bot continues to use the probabilistic latency model and Elo-calibrated decision engine to ensure its playstyle remains human-like.
