Question - can these shaders run with cuda?

Hi there,

The library looks extremely neat - will this kind of shader run with a cuda backend (maybe not yet - but soon?). If so I'm quite keen to try hooking it up to things from python with slangtorch.

For example as a flexible substitute for tiny-cuda-nn and as part of other slang codes for differentiable rendering.

Writing a flexible drop-in for tiny-cuda-nn sounds like a very interesting application! Unfortunately, CUDA does not yet have CoopVec support, and currently the samples will only run in a graphics context.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out; presumably, at some point, it will also have a similar capability.

Just a note that slangpy which has torch interop uses a vulkan context by default so it should be possible to use this kind of thing fairly directly!
