Problem
Fixes #613.
The Helm chart default mounts the metrics ConfigMap key onto /etc/dcgm-exporter/default-counters.csv using subPath. On SELinux-enforcing nodes such as Bottlerocket, that file overlay can fail during container startup.
Change
Mount the default metrics ConfigMap as the /etc/dcgm-exporter directory instead of overlaying the existing CSV file with subPath. The rendered path remains /etc/dcgm-exporter/default-counters.csv because the ConfigMap item is still projected as default-counters.csv.
Also update the Helm README and static chart tests for this rendering contract.
Testing
GPU runtime validation was not run on this macOS machine. This still needs confirmation on a Linux NVIDIA GPU node, ideally EKS Bottlerocket or another SELinux-enforcing node.
