Default location for the configuration file is /etc/logid.cfg, but another can be specified using the `-c` flag.

### Graphical Configuration Tool (GUI)

An interactive graphical configurator is available in [`logiops_gui.py`](./logiops_gui.py). It provides an intuitive interface for:
- Auto-detecting connected Logitech HID++ devices
- Setting DPI, SmartShift (freespin, threshold, torque), and HiRes scrolling
- Remapping buttons (thumb, top, forward, back) and configuring swipe gestures
- Remapping side thumbwheel actions (e.g. volume control, media keys)
- Viewing live service, connection, and battery status
- Real-time configuration diff preview and clipboard export

To launch the GUI:
```bash
sudo python3 logiops_gui.py
```

For full documentation and troubleshooting, see [readme_gui.md](./readme_gui.md).
