perf: lazy-load export, share and scan libraries; fix font weights - #255
Conversation
WalkthroughThe frontend updates font requests and fallbacks, adds image loading attributes, and replaces static imports of QR and PDF libraries with dynamic imports. The share dialog now displays an error toast when QR generation fails. ChangesFrontend updates

- Line 74: In the QR preview generation failure handler around the dynamic
import of qrcode, keep clearing the QR data and show a user-facing error via the
existing toast mechanism when the effect has not been cancelled. Ensure
cancelled effects do not display the error.

These are only needed when a user exports, shares or scans an invoice, but were bundled into the chunk shared by the Sent and Received pages. Import them on demand inside the async functions that use them, so the existing error handling in callers still covers a failed chunk load.
Give the footer logo and the hero dashboard screenshot intrinsic dimensions to avoid layout shift, lazy-load the below-the-fold footer logo, and raise the fetch priority of the above-the-fold hero image.
Montserrat is the app's base font but only 600 and 700 were requested, so regular and medium text was rendered with the wrong weight. Load 400 and 500 too, and fall back to Tailwind's sans-serif stack instead of serif for both Montserrat and Inter.
qrcode now loads on demand, so a failed chunk load (e.g. offline) is a real failure mode. Show a toast instead of silently leaving the dialog without a code.

ShareInvoiceDialog into the i18n resources, then render it through the
component’s translation mechanism so the toast is localized.

Addressed Issues:
No separate issue: a performance pass from a frontend audit before the ETC launch.
Screenshots/Recordings:
No visual change, except that body text in Montserrat now renders at its real regular and medium weights instead of a faked bold. JavaScript downloaded per page, measured from the production build (
vite build, following each entry's static imports throughdist):InvoiceFilterBar-*.js)//)Additional Notes:
Problem
Change
await import()inside the function that uses it:generateInvoicePDF.jsinvoiceBulkExport.js(a CSV/JSON zip never loads pdf-lib)invoiceShareQr.jsinvoiceShareScan.js. It still validates the file before loading jsqr, then loads jsqr and the image in parallel.width,height,loading="lazy"anddecoding="async".width/heightto prevent layout shift, plusfetchpriority="high"because it's the above-the-fold image. It uses lowercasefetchpriority, because React 18.3 doesn't recognise the camelCase prop.App.jsx), but only weights 600 and 700 were loaded, sofont-normalandfont-mediumtext was synthesised. Montserrat now loads 400–700."serif"; they now use Tailwind's default sans stack.Tried and dropped
manualChunkssplit for the wallet vendors (wagmi/viem/RainbowKit/WalletConnect/ethers) increased the Landing page's initial JS from 1.35 MB to 4.7 MB, because it pulled the lazily loaded wallet connectors into the eager chunk.vite.config.jsis unchanged.Follow-up (not in this PR)
public/logo-animated.gifis 1.8 MB, a 936×936 image shown at 56px. It should be converted to a small animated WebP or MP4. No image converter was available, so for now it is only lazy-loaded.Merge note
index.htmlfonts line now sits where fix(routing): deep links land on Landing; base-path-unaware asset URLs #251 removed the old decoder script.Testing
