No linked issue. This PR fixes the main findings from Rohan's peer audit (Chainvoice-Peer-Audit-v0.1, commit a36a29b), plus the open part of our own QA item D, before the mainnet launch:
Finding
Severity
Fix
CV-FE-01: hostile batchInfo crashes the Received page
Medium
Strict shape check plus defensive rendering
CV-OPS-01: README and .env.example point to a retired Sepolia contract
Medium
Current addresses, with the retired one listed as retired
CV-FE-09: the mouse wheel changes amounts
Low
Number inputs drop focus on wheel, in the shared Input
D: unlisted or link-supplied tokens shown as "Verified ✓"; Request Invoices builds a chain-1 link without a wallet
-
Honest token box; no link without a wallet
Base mainnet support is wired through deploy.yml, ready for the deploy. The contract findings (CV-SC-01, CV-OPS-03) are in #332. The stale token-list fetch from D is #325, which JANAKIRAM218 is fixing.
Screenshots/Recordings:
Tested on a local dev server against Sepolia:
Custom token from a payment link:?tokenAddress=0xB5E9…55C7&customToken=true&chain=11155111 now shows an amber box: "Chainvoice (CIN) · Not in token list", the full address, "Decimals: 18" and the check-the-address warning. "Verified ✓" no longer appears anywhere on the page.
Mouse wheel: typed 5 in Unit Price, kept the pointer over the focused field and scrolled 5 wheel ticks. The value stays 5, the field loses focus and the page scrolls.
Request Invoices with no wallet: the link field is empty with the placeholder "Connect your wallet to generate a link", and Copy is disabled.
Additional Notes:
CV-FE-01
Shape check:invoicePayloadShape.js now accepts batchInfo only if batchId is a non-empty string, batchSize is an integer ≥ 1, index is an integer with 0 ≤ index < batchSize, and batchType is text or absent. That is the shape CreateInvoicesBatch has written since batches were added (batchId = batch_<timestamp>), so genuine invoices still pass.
Old records:buildChainInvoice runs this check every time an invoice is rendered, so a bad record already stored in IndexedDB now renders as an on-chain-only stub ("invoice format") instead of crashing the page. No migration is needed.
Rendering: the "Batch #…" label also renders defensively.
Tests: Rohan's two proof-of-concept payloads (batchInfo: {} and batchId: 12345) are regression tests in chainInvoice.test.js, alongside 10 new shape cases.
CV-FE-09
Where:getInputWheelHandler blurs a type="number" input on wheel and still calls the caller's own onWheel. The shared components/ui/input.jsx uses it, which covers all 13 amount, quantity, discount and tax fields on Create, Batch Create and Treasury without editing those fields one by one.
Not changed: the two MUI filter fields in InvoiceFilterBar only filter the list.
D: custom tokens
Why: reading symbol(), name() and decimals() only proves an address is an ERC-20. Anyone can deploy a token called "USD Coin". The old green "Verified ✓" box made a lookalike token look trusted, including one supplied through a payment link.
New box: the three copies of that box (Create, Batch Create, Request Invoices) become one CustomTokenDetails component. It's amber, labelled "Not in token list", shows the full address and asks the user to check it. Its strings live in the new customToken i18n namespace.
Side fix: the Create pages imported Badge from lucide-react (an icon) instead of the Badge component, so their badge never rendered as a badge. That import is gone.
D: Request Invoices
Before: with no wallet connected, the page still built a link with an empty clientAddress and chain=1.
Now: the link stays empty until a wallet is connected, and chain always comes from the connected wallet.
CV-OPS-01
Addresses: the README and frontend/.env.example now give Sepolia 0xff10…363a, and Mordor and Amoy 0xeF66…20d2.
Retired contract:0x65eb…df5b is listed as retired, with its older ABI noted.
Single record: the README points to Deployments.md as the record of every deployment.
Base
Workflow:deploy.yml now passes VITE_CONTRACT_ADDRESS_8453 to the build.
Until the deploy: the secret is unset, so Base stays hidden and this is safe to merge first.
Already in place: Base is in chainConfig, the token list, the public RPC map and the network switcher icons.
After the deploy: set the secret and add the Deployments.md row.
Checks
npm run lint: clean.
npm run build: passes.
npm run test:ci: 568 of 568 pass (551 before, plus 17 new).
Overlap with open PRs:#322 and #327 also touch CreateInvoice.jsx / CreateInvoicesBatch.jsx, but in the item and amount logic, not the custom-token block or the imports changed here.

- CV-FE-01: validate batchInfo fields (string batchId, integer index
within batchSize) so a hash-valid hostile payload can no longer crash
the Received page; render the batch label defensively.
- CV-FE-09: number inputs blur on mouse wheel, so scrolling past an
amount field can't silently change it. Fixed once in the shared Input.
- Custom tokens: replace the "Verified" badge with "Not in token list"
and a warning to check the address. Reading a token's contract only
proves it is an ERC-20, not that it is the token its name claims.
- Request Invoices: build no link without a connected wallet instead of
one with an empty address and chain 1.
- CV-OPS-01: README and .env.example point at the current Sepolia,
Mordor and Amoy contracts; the retired Sepolia contract is listed as
such.
- Base: pass VITE_CONTRACT_ADDRESS_8453 to the Pages build. Base stays
hidden until that secret is set.

Walkthrough
This pull request updates contract deployment configuration and documentation, centralizes verified-token details, requires wallet address and chain data before generating links, validates batch invoice metadata, and adds wheel handling that blurs number inputs.
Changes
Contract deployment configuration
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Deployment addresses and build configuration .github/workflows/deploy.yml, frontend/.env.example, README.md
The example environment and README list updated Sepolia, Mordor Testnet, and Polygon Amoy addresses, with Base left blank. The README identifies a retired Sepolia address and points to Deployments.md. The production build receives VITE_CONTRACT_ADDRESS_8453 from its matching secret.
CustomTokenDetails displays the token name, symbol, address, and decimals with an unlisted-token warning and address-check reminder. The invoice and link pages use the shared component in place of their inline token details.
Wallet requirements for link generation frontend/src/page/GenerateLink.jsx
Link generation returns an empty string when the wallet is disconnected or its address or chain ID is missing. The page prompts the user to connect a wallet.
Batch invoice metadata
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Batch metadata validation and display frontend/src/utils/invoicePayloadShape.js, frontend/tests/utils/invoicePayloadShape.test.js, frontend/tests/utils/chainInvoice.test.js, frontend/src/page/ReceivedInvoice.jsx
Batch metadata validation checks the batch ID, size, index, and field types. Tests cover invalid metadata and invoice classification. The received-invoice badge converts the batch ID to a string before taking its final four characters.
No current wrong-chain link path was established. Add the required token-notice test and localize the new placeholder before merging.
