Pomodoro Clock

This project is a Pomodoro timer that uses Qt Quick to generate the interface; it supports a study technique consisting of 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5-minute break, and features a progress bar that advances as the time counts down.

How it works?

  • The user clicks the "start focus" button, which uses the Qt Timer to create the timer.
  • C++ passes the information to the QML file.
  • The QML displays the information.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following installed on your machine:

  • Git
  • C++ Compiler (GCC/g++ or Clang with C++17 support)
  • CMake (version 3.16 or higher)
  • Qt 6 (modules: Core, Gui, Qml, Quick, QuickControls2)

How to Build and Run

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/alanmachadozx/pomodoro-clock.git

  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd pomodoro-clock

  3. Configure and build the project using CMake:

    cmake -B build -DCMAKE_EXPORT_COMPILE_COMMANDS=ON
    cmake --build build

  4. Run the application:

    ./build/program
