…edges proxy_dash hung on the primary base_url when an edge stalled individual objects (ms-to-25s latency swings), until dash.js abandoned the request. Abandoned handlers surfaced as bare 500s with no app log. Each track is now tried on base_url then backup_urls with an 8s per-attempt header deadline; exhausted mirrors return a logged 502 and client abandons are logged with elapsed time.

Live: - Server-side format policy: FLV first, HLS fallback (LIVE_PREFER_HLS=true reverses it); one format per room, no client-side switching. - Player libs load per format only: hls.min.js on live-HLS pages, mpegts.js on live-FLV pages, neither on VOD (FLV is live-only; VOD is DASH/native). Format passed as window.live_format since HLS master URLs do not always carry an .m3u8 suffix to sniff. - Fixed per-quality live URLs: the dynamic QN wrapper now resolves via a getattr fallback, so the full quality ladder loads instead of 原画-only. - Anonymous sessions resolve the default quality only; per-quality ladders require login, so the extra fetches are skipped without SESSDATA. VOD/DASH: - Abort (never cleanly finish) truncated DASH segments so dash.js retries instead of demuxing corrupt bytes; upstream closed before re-raising. - Immutable Cache-Control on /proxy/dash segments: ABR re-probes become instant browser-cache hits. - Media/init/sidx retry attempts 3 to 5; segment failures log request forensics (bytesLoaded/bytesTotal/status). Restricted states: - Paywall codes (87005/87007/87008) short-circuit to a neutral Restricted video notice; doomed PGC/durl retries skipped. - Uploader-closed comments (12061) stop after the signed attempt (no unsigned retry burning a -352) and render a closed notice. Docs: - AGENTS.md: live HLS role, optional WARP/SOCKS5, live format policy. - doc/configuration.md: new [live] section (LIVE_PREFER_HLS).
