Each SKILL.md doubles as a standalone quickstart. Required sections, in order: When to use this skill → What you need from the user first → Steps → Gotchas → Next steps. Copy .specify/templates/skill-template.md.

Adding a new platform skill

1. Copy .specify/templates/skill-template.md to skills/<platform>/SKILL.md.
2. Set frontmatter name to the directory name. Keep the required sections in order.
3. Check the real authdog docs/SDK for that platform before writing — don't invent API surface that doesn't exist yet; if there's no SDK, say so and document the underlying REST pattern instead.
4. Add a row to the table above.
5. For a new kind of skill (not just another platform), run /speckit-specify first.
