1. The address used there as an example does not use the clarin.de alias.
2. I wonder how dynamic the backend version info is. Currently, the page says "BaseX 12.1", while, locally, we are playing with v. 12.3. So, if there is no way to query the DB version string dynamically, let's just say "v. 12.x"?
3. Carefully check the page for other potential updates, perhaps another FAQ has surfaced?

Addressed (1) but the API has problems with 'views', it seems (it is not enabled, or is this about the forced point of access, under data/? So the example doesn't work.

As for (2), added one more info file, data/dbVersion.xml, to function more or less like last-commit-ID, except it should go through a module perhaps (? @margaretha -- you know better... :-))

As for (3), I wasn't able to think of any new FAQ, but my brain is a bit cooked at the moment.

The example needs to mention data/ now, but the corresponding styling example should now be scratched, right, @margaretha ?
