Drop the Fumadocs-based documentation app to align the monorepo with the two-app target shape (apps/web + apps/app). - Delete the entire apps/docs tree - Narrow pnpm-workspace glob to apps/web + apps/app; drop the rolldown minimumReleaseAge exclusion that existed only to support Fumadocs builds - Remove /docs links from apps/web header and footer - Update README.md and apps/web/README.md (architecture, project tree, Vercel deploy mapping) - Drop the area:docs option from bug/feature issue templates and from the create-issue skill - Remove the /apps/docs entry from .github/CODEOWNERS - Drop the docs port mention in the getting-started blog post Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Drop the user-facing changelog (Keep-a-Changelog style release notes) to
focus apps/web on what a blog template actually needs.
- Delete apps/web/src/app/changelog/ (page, loading, [slug]/page,
[slug]/opengraph-image, opengraph-image, feed.xml/route)
- Delete apps/web/content/releases/ (0.1.0.mdx)
- Delete apps/web/src/components/blog/{release-group,release-entry,
release-meta}.tsx
- Delete apps/web/src/lib/blog/releases.ts
- Edit apps/web/content-collections.ts: drop the `releases` collection and
its registration in `content: [...]`
- Edit apps/web/src/lib/blog/types.ts: drop Release, ReleaseCategory,
RELEASE_CATEGORIES, RELEASE_CATEGORY_LABELS, sortReleasesDesc,
ReleaseGroup, groupReleasesByMinor
- Edit apps/web/src/lib/blog/feed.ts: drop Release import and the
buildChangelogFeed function (blog feed is untouched)
- Edit apps/web/src/lib/blog/search.ts: drop the allReleases spread, narrow
SearchItem.type to "post"
- Edit apps/web/src/app/sitemap.ts: drop the /changelog static entry, the
changelogEntries map, and the allReleases import
- Edit apps/web/src/components/headers/site-header.tsx: remove the
"Changelog" nav entry
- Edit apps/web/src/components/blog/search-dialog.tsx: update placeholder
and empty-state copy to drop "and releases"
- Edit apps/web/README.md: drop changelog mentions throughout (purpose,
stack, project tree, "Changelog releases" section, RSS feed note,
apps/web role description)
No DB schema, no API procedure, no env var — the changelog was entirely
scoped to apps/web. apps/app and packages/* are untouched.

chore: remove apps/docs (Fumadocs)
…elog-feature # Conflicts: # apps/web/src/components/headers/site-header.tsx
chore: remove changelog feature from apps/web
The `docs/` directory held maintainer-only documentation (better-auth guides, audit history, plan files) that is no longer relevant now that this template has been repurposed from a SaaS template to a blog template. The `temp/` directory held scratch audit notes that were already .gitignored at the repo root. - Delete apps/docs/... already done in previous PR #2 - Delete docs/ (better-auth guides, internal learnings, plans) - Delete temp/ (audit notes) Cleanup of references: - AGENTS.md: drop the entire "Better-Auth guides" section that pointed to docs/guides/better-auth/ - .claude/skills/spec/SKILL.md: redirect the spec output directory from docs/plans/{n}.md to .claude/plans/{n}.md - README.md: drop the line referencing docs/guides/better-auth/ - .claude/agent-memory/tech-lead/MEMORY.md: drop entries for the deleted notes and rephrase the apps/web architecture line - .claude/agent-memory/tech-lead/project/followup-better-auth-doc-stale.md and project/single-tenant.md: removed (entirely obsolete after the docs/ deletion) - .claude/agent-memory/tech-lead/project/{mailer-audit,p1-send-on-signup- disabled,p1-use-secure-cookies,p1-trusted-origins}.md: drop the references to docs/guides/better-auth/ and temp/audit/mailer/mailer.md - .claude/agent-memory/tech-lead/apps/docs.md: removed (app no longer exists) - .claude/worktrees/agent-ac99ff6f4a19777be/.claude/agent-memory/tech-lead/ {MEMORY.md, project-saas-template-overview.md, reference-better-auth- guides.md}: cleaned up — two notes removed, MEMORY.md no longer points to them Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Consolidated changeset that bundles three coupled improvements to the
apps/web build:
1. Drop auth CTAs from the public site
The blog template does not onboard users — apps/app (the future admin
dashboard) owns authentication. Remove the Login and Sign up buttons
from apps/web's SiteHeader:
- Desktop: the right-side group containing Login (outline) and
Sign up (primary)
- Mobile (Sheet): the bottom group containing the same two buttons
2. Blog-ify the homepage
The "Project ready!" placeholder landing page no longer matches a
public blog surface. Replace apps/web/src/app/page.tsx with an exact
copy of the blog index (apps/web/src/app/blog/page.tsx) — same
metadata export (title "Blog", canonical /blog, RSS alternate) and
same JSX (header, tag filter strip, featured post, grid, empty
state). The /blog route keeps its own identical copy; both URLs
render the same content. The site-header NAV_LINKS still points to
/blog.
3. Fix Vercel build: resolve @workspace/env as a source package
The first attempt at this PR surfaced the pre-existing structural
bug "Module not found: Can't resolve '@workspace/env/client'".
packages/env ships its compiled JS in dist/ (gitignored). The
workspace path mapping in apps/web/tsconfig.json only knew about
@workspace/ui and @workspace/cookies — both of which use the same
"src-resolved workspace package" pattern via tsconfig + transpilePackages.
Turbopack had no committed dist/ to fall back on for @workspace/env.
Switch packages/env to the same pattern:
- packages/env/src/{client,index,server}.ts: drop the .js suffix
from relative imports so Turbopack can resolve them. The compiled
output remains compatible (tsc still emits valid ESM).
- apps/web/tsconfig.json: add @workspace/env and @workspace/env/*
paths pointing at packages/env/src/.
- apps/web/next.config.ts: add @workspace/env to transpilePackages.
Verified locally: `pnpm --filter web build` produces the full route
table (no Module not found errors). apps/app exhibits the same shape
for @workspace/auth but is not built by the Vercel project that
surfaced this — a follow-up PR can apply the equivalent mapping when
apps/app ships to production.
