@syuhnd It's going to be very hard for me to address this without a Taskfile to reproduce your issue with. I've tested the new version on a number of my projects and it works just fine.
What does output of
task --list --json --nested --no-statuslook like when you run it? This is what we use to create the tree view in the extension.Thanks for your help!
It turned out the issue was caused by an outdated Task CLI version.
I was running:
Task version: v3.39.2
This version does not support the
--nestedflag, which the extension (v1.0.0) uses to generate the tree view.After upgrading Task CLI to v3.48.0, the Tree view started working correctly.
So the issue was not related to the Taskfile itself, but to the CLI version mismatch.

However:
The Taskfile contains many nested tasks using ":" namespace
(e.g. multiple levels like a:b:c:d).
This seems related to Tree rendering.
