MH API is a Obsidian plugin that acts as a shared foundation for MH Obsidian plugins. It centralizes reusable interfaces, file operations, filters, automation, formatting, and integration helpers so consumer plugins can stay consistent and avoid duplicating the same behavior.
- Native-looking settings, modals, searchable lists, draggable item lists, toggles, confirmations, exclusion lists, and context menus.
- Color, icon, date, time, and date-time pickers, including offline Obsidian icons and an optional online Lucide catalog.
- File, file-name, folder, tag, property, property-value, command, logic-folder, and custom suggesters for modals and text inputs.
- Rules and condition editors for properties, names, paths, folders, tags, timestamps, booleans, lists, and recurring dates.
- Reusable cards, headers, breadcrumbs, sidebars, search controls, view controls, and responsive layouts.
- Note information such as word counts, reading time, links, tags, properties, headings, tasks, dates, and file statistics.
- Automated note actions for properties, tags, aliases, CSS classes, text, tasks, files, templates, commands, notices, and clipboard values.
- Recent accessed, modified, and created file histories with filtering, persistence, and change listeners.
- Shared date and time formats, localization, IDs, cloning, relative-time formatting, recurrence helpers, and rule configuration utilities.
See the MH API documentation for installation requirements, runtime access, every public feature, configuration options, and integration examples.

Help break the language barrier! Want to translate MH API into your language? Download the en.us.json language file, create a copy using the appropriate language code, and translate the text values without changing the keys. Once finished, submit the translated file through a GitHub pull request or attach it to a new GitHub issue. Your contribution will be credited in the project.
Please consider supporting my work. There are many hours of work, thinking and effort behind it. The two easiest ways to support the plugin are either by starring the repository or by donating any amount on Ko-fi. Thank you!
