Engineering across disciplines

I am a Biomedical Engineering Honours graduate from the University of Sydney, based in Sydney, Australia. I build testable systems at the intersection of biomedical engineering, embedded Linux, and local AI—from hardware bring-up and biosignal learning to privacy-aware information tools.

Selected work

Redmi K30 Pro → postmarketOS — Embedded Linux · Kernel · Bring-up · Validation

Built the kernel, DTBs, and complete postmarketOS images for the Redmi K30 Pro / POCO F2 Pro, with real-device validation of persistent boot, rootfs, SSH, Windows RNDIS networking, Wi-Fi, display, and touch — unfinished peripherals and unverified mainline states are marked explicitly.

Built an alpha, local-first pipeline that converts saved links into traceable Markdown, JSON, SQLite records, graph exports, and agent handoff packages, with batch processing, OCR / ASR adapters, and explicit privacy boundaries.

Contributed five merged pull requests across editor state, table layout, desktop window lifecycle, and link resolution — including scroll preservation, configurable column widths, and Settings-window stability.

Edge Biosignal AI course — TinyML · ECG / EEG · Edge AI · On-device learning

Synthesised a 17-paper research thread into a structured learning artifact covering compact sequence models, neuromorphic computing, on-device learning, privacy, and generalisation — paper-reported results kept separate from interpretation.

Additional engineering evidence

  • Artificial-tendon tensile testing: designed a surgical-suture specimen mounting method to eliminate grip slippage; the project record reports a 19× improvement in test reliability.
  • 3D-printer workspace redesign: increased workbench capacity from four to five printers (+25%); the rear-mount spool-holder completed 100+ observed printing hours without mechanical failure.
