I build open geospatial tools that help people get data out of difficult sources, publish it in reusable formats, and put it on maps.
My work spans ArcGIS REST extraction, MapLibre, OpenStreetMap, PostGIS, and cloud-native geospatial delivery. I’m especially interested in data provenance, useful public infrastructure, and tools that other people can maintain and extend.
- maplibre-gl-vector-text-protocol — bring common vector text formats directly into MapLibre maps.
- esri-query — extract data from ArcGIS REST services when ordinary downloads fall short.
- arcgis-preview — quickly inspect ArcGIS REST layers on a map.
I’m exploring better ways to connect authoritative data, field observations, and cloud-native formats while keeping source and attribution clear.
