Me he comprado una parcela, no lejos del matadero, exclamó,
Allí pienso construir una especie de pirámide.
En la que podamos pasar los últimos días de nuestra vida.— Nicanor Parra
I was born in the desert of San Luis Potosí, México 🌵🇲🇽.
I am an engineer, builder, and curious operator interested in the space between software, hardware, and distributed systems.
These days, I spend most of my time exploring Embedded Rust, building hardware drivers, and working on Metro Simulation Engine — a small world where virtual trains, physical devices, radio messages, and deterministic simulations learn to coexist.
Some of the things I'm working on:
- Metro Simulation Engine — a deterministic simulation that connects virtual and physical railway systems.
- Embedded Rust — writing drivers, exploring registers, talking to sensors, cameras, and radio transceivers, one byte at a time.
- Iron Burrow — an underground infrastructure project for indexing blockchains, protecting nodes, and serving honest, source-aware data.
I enjoy understanding what happens beneath the abstractions: how a register controls a device, how a message travels through the air, and how small independent components become a working system.
I like systems that are simple, transparent, and resilient.
I like software that tells the truth about what it knows.
I like building things slowly enough to understand them.
Somewhere between the bare metal and the burrow.
