jsonplug — JSON-LD Schema Manager for e107 CMS

A lightweight e107 plugin that automatically injects multilingual JSON-LD structured data into every page of your website, improving SEO and enabling rich search results on Google, Bing, and other search engines.

Key Features

• Automatic multilingual support — A new admin textarea is automatically generated for every language installed in your e107 site. Add a new language in e107, and a new tab immediately appears in the plugin admin where you can paste the JSON-LD code for that language. No code changes needed.

• Smart fallback — If the current visitor's language has no JSON-LD configured, the plugin automatically falls back to the English version.

• Tabbed admin interface — Clean, tab-based configuration page. Each tab corresponds to an installed language. Simply paste your JSON-LD code (without <script> tags) and save.

• Automatic install/uninstall — Database tables are created and dropped automatically via the e107 Plugin Manager. No manual SQL required.

• Safe output — Automatically escapes </script> sequences inside JSON-LD content to prevent XSS and premature script tag closing.

• Lightweight — Pure PHP, no external dependencies, negligible impact on page load.

How It Works

1. The plugin reads the list of installed languages directly from e107.
2. For each language, a dedicated tab is shown in the admin area.
3. The site administrator pastes the JSON-LD code for each language.
4. On every frontend page load, the plugin detects the visitor's current language and injects the corresponding JSON-LD into the page.
5. If no JSON-LD exists for the current language, it falls back to English.

Requirements

• e107 CMS 2.x
• PHP 7.0+
• MySQL 5.6+ / MariaDB 10+

Installation

1. Upload the jsonplug folder to e107_plugins/ on your server.
2. Go to Admin Area → Plugin Manager.
3. Find json-ld and click Install.
4. Configure your JSON-LD code in Admin Area → json-ld.

Database

The plugin creates a single table jsonplug:

Adding a New Language

Simply install the new language in e107 (Admin → Languages). The plugin will automatically detect it and display a new tab in the admin area where you can add the JSON-LD code for that language. No plugin modification required.
