A convenience macro to test for specific values of \localeinfo properties would be useful, i.e. something like
\iflocaleinfo{⟨field⟩}{⟨value⟩}{⟨true code⟩}{⟨false code⟩}ideally in an expandable way.
My current use-case is to test for any of the many German variants, cf. babel-german/#32.
