Hi
First of all i must say your simple mod is so user friendly! Already tested your and one from patreon but look like me expectation from paid content was exaggerated...
And now my "help" or "request".
I will just mention I'm total noob with javascript.
How to make mana (spell point) potion that will work with your module?
Already spend like 1 hour searching on google but couldn't find any explanation how to make consumable that will restore uses on feature...
Also when creating "items" its possible to link consumption with your module before i transfer it to character sheet?
Hello, thx for your kind words. The latest version comes with resource binding. That meand you can create your mana potion that replenish x spell points using the resource primary, secondary or tertiary.
if the item is not on a character you won't see "Spell Points" you have to choose the same resource you selected in the module configuration (like: resources.secondary.value)
Thanks for answer!
To be fair i totally forgot asking and wanted to do it asap so i found some help on official discord that work.
Targeting item from compendium and while on actor sheet it just work.
Tried method you showed me, its look simpler and i don't know if it work or not.
I just see "Midi Use" not "Recovery Spellpoint" maybe its because i changed item name to "Mana" on sheet.
When i try it on 0 resource value it show me there are some spell points available.
While writing it i found whats going on. So when set "Bind spell point item..." it added additional item into "favorites" and look like it don't refresh correctly, like its not linked correctly or something, i don't know. "Mana" bar work with spellpoints feature but that item in favorites have some problems
Again thanks for help. I have working item and it must be enough for my players if they dont want to roll and add mana manually :)
okeeey
so its linked correctly
"mana" bar, linked resource and compendium item all show correct number without any issue i can see right now.
My mana potion totally stopped working, i think i did everything correctly like you showed me before. Didn't work with old item on sheet and with fresh one.
After comparing your potion from compendium and mine i found how it work now, so i think everything work now! Just old method don't work and it must target item on sheet (writing it if anyone will check here in future).
Also i see you made ring! Not exactly like i planed to make mine but i can work with it ;)
Have a good and fresh coffee!
Edit: I forget and i dont remember if it worked or not but while writing "+XX" on mana bar it's skip "+" and change value to "XX".
Sorry, that's a side effect, I had to rewrite how the linked resource is working, before was 2 way, now the linked resource just read the spell points value and always replicate it. Before there where racing conditions and loops I wasn't able to prevent. This is more stable. The result should be the same with the new "potion".
Edit: I forget and i dont remember if it worked or not but while writing "+XX" on mana bar it's skip "+" and change value to "XX".
that's correct, but I see the HP bar supports relative increments/decrements. It's a good idea. With all that coffee I'll have the energy to implement it. Thank you!

you are right that resource binding is not working correctly. I have to fix that. I just have to find the time to work on it.
