As I researched how others handle their dotfiles, I came to the conclusion that there are slightly less then a million different ways to handle it. I'm going to do it my way. A git repo with my dotfiles in it, and a script to set up aliases.
Before cloning on Windows, set git to stop trying to convert line endings: git config --global core.autocrlf false. It will save headaches later.
