Summary

  • Adds a platforms.json profile for the Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon X Elite) that puts the Surface kernel and the hardware, pen, camera, light-sensor and power packages in the offline mirror.
  • Every Surface Pro 11 variant reports the same DMI product name, so LCD and X Plus units also receive these packages. The runtime board script applies them only to the tested OLED model.
  • No kernel command line: linux-sp11 defaults its CPUs to schedutil.
  • systemd's hwids already list the Surface Pro 11 OLED and LCD, so stock Dragon media selects the Denali DTB on its own. This profile is about what gets installed, not the live boot.

Dependencies

Draft until linux-sp11 (omacom/omarchy-pkgs#830), surface-pro-11-support (omacom/omarchy-pkgs#825), iptsd (omacom/omarchy-pkgs#826), libcamera-surface-pro-11 (omacom/omarchy-pkgs#827), surface-pro-11-sensors (omacom/omarchy-pkgs#828) and power-profiles-daemon-surface-pro-11 (omacom/omarchy-pkgs#829) are published on the channel the ISO builds from. linux-sp11 is edge-only, so Snapdragon ISOs need edge until it moves.

Test plan

  • ./test/all passes on current dragon
  • An earlier revision of this profile built the local ISO my daily Surface Pro 11 was installed from
  • Full ISO build and install from edge once the packages are published

Install the Surface kernel and the Surface Pro 11 hardware, pen, camera,
light sensor and power packages on the Snapdragon X Elite Surface Pro
11. Every Surface Pro 11 variant reports the same DMI product name, so
LCD and X Plus units also receive these packages; the runtime board
setup applies them only to the tested OLED model. The kernel defaults
its CPUs to schedutil, so the profile adds no command line.

Depends on linux-sp11, surface-pro-11-support, iptsd,
libcamera-surface-pro-11, surface-pro-11-sensors and
power-profiles-daemon-surface-pro-11 being published on the channel the
ISO is built from; linux-sp11 is edge-only.

Validated with ./test/all. An earlier revision of this profile installed
the Surface Pro 11 in daily use from a locally built ISO.
