Improve azimuth grid label density for better readability #275
In the livestreaming modal, user feedback on the azimuth grid/slider has been very positive.
Alos, users mentioned that it is not always easy to infer the value represented by intermediate graduations. They suggested that displaying additional azimuth values along the grid could make the scale easier to read.
At higher zoom levels, it is sometimes possible to see only a single azimuth value, making it difficult to infer the value of intermediate ticks -> this will be handled in a dedicated Issue (XXX)
As azimuth grid might soon land as well in Alerts/History page (#274), if could be implemented without the need of having a dedidacted livetreaming access when coding :)
Discussion
Explore different labeling strategies to improve readability without cluttering the UI.
Possible approaches include:
Display a value on every graduation.
Display values on a subset of graduations (e.g. every 5th tick or another evenly spaced interval).
Compare several rendering options to determine the best balance between readability and visual density.
