Description:
When the firmware automatically creates a new Virtual Memory Card (VMC) for a game based on its Game ID, or when the user manually forces the creation of a new card, it currently generates a blank/empty memory card image.
I would like to suggest a feature that checks for a specific "template" file in the root or in a specific folder of the MicroSD card before generating a blank card.
If that template file exists, the system should duplicate/clone it and rename it for the new slot or Game ID instead of creating a brand-new, empty card. If it does not exist, the firmware should fall back to its current standard behavior of making a fresh, blank card.
This should be very useful for players that want to play online. Users could create a template card containing their network configurations, for example, and able to always have the configuration ready.
