I think sbt-dependency-lock should... be able to be used with sbt 2.
How will this benefit other users?
This will make it easier to... have all benefits of this plugin when using sbt 2.

Have you found a different way of doing this without this enhancement? No.
Will this require a lock file change?
Lock file changes require extra work and force users to migrate their lock files. Unknown.

Links to repos to that need this, examples of other projects that do this etc Any project that uses this will likely want to eventually move to sbt 2 and would therefore need this, or to find another solution (that may not even exist yet).
