Need Help with GitHub Actions Auto-Deployment to Vercel #1
Need Help with GitHub Actions Auto-Deployment to Vercel
Hi folks! I’m setting up GitHub Actions to auto-deploy my Node.js project to Vercel, but hitting a permission error during the workflow run.
My workflow file uses the Vercel CLI action, and I’ve added the VERCEL_TOKEN as a repository secret. However, the step fails with "Error: Invalid token or insufficient permissions". I’ve double-checked the token scope (it has "Deployments" access) and verified the secret name matches the workflow.
Has anyone faced this issue before? Any tips on troubleshooting the token permissions or workflow config would be amazing.
Is this for a different repo? I don't see any actions on this one, and in your codebase I don't see a .github directory. I may be able to help. I've deployed to vercel, but seeing your workflow and maybe the actions log would be helpful.
