GitHub Copilot is not auto-completing in VS Code, seeking troubleshooting advice #2

Hi everyone! I'm having some issues with my GitHub Copilot in VS Code and need some help.

Recently, Copilot stopped providing automatic code suggestions—it doesn't pop up any completion suggestions when I type code, even for simple code snippets that used to work fine. The Copilot status bar shows "Connected," and I've already logged out and logged back into my GitHub account.

I've tried:

Updating Copilot and the VS Code extension to the latest versions

Disabling other extensions to rule out conflicts

Restarting VS Code and my computer

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Did I accidentally change some specific settings in VS Code or GitHub? Or what logs can I check to diagnose the problem?
