Practice: git environment settings

  1. Download git: https://git-scm.com/downloads
  2. Execute below command and check if git has been downloaded.
$ git --version
  1. Set user configuration
$ git config --global user.name "<YOUR_NAME>"
$ git config --global user.email "<YOUR_EMAIL>"
  1. Show your result with comments!
$ git --version
git version 2.37.0.windows.1
$ git config --list
diff.astextplain.textconv=astextplain
filter.lfs.clean=git-lfs clean -- %f
filter.lfs.smudge=git-lfs smudge -- %f
