WebGL and other Librewolf related issues thread #203
Instead of having 10 different issues for WebGL issues across 10 different sites, I'll just make them duplicates of this one until I decide on something.
Windy.com now displays after a couple webgl settings switched on in about:config as mentioned before.
Still fails to load live webcam views in this website.
The internet traffic meter shows continuous traffic download which I assume it is receiving data but cannot display it.
also, when the browser restarts, webgl disabled = true is reset to false
I had noticed that before and I asked Librewolf devs about it, and it's intentional because as is the browser will just block all WebGL, so there's not really a reason to have an extra WebGL disable option.
This is the Windy.com and other external webcam feed sites fail I posted back in July. Turns out the issue was triggered by installing Bitdefender back then but with MSE still running in parallel. Disabled MSE and now it all works!!!
I noticed that Google Maps street mode is too slow, when you click to move through the street you're viewing, streets gets pixelated during the advancing animation. Before it used to work fine. I tested Google Maps on official firefox 115.41.0esr and works flawlessly. It moves smoothly and fast and no pixelating when moving through the street you're viewing.
Also sites like windy.com work flawlessly too on Firefox 115.41.0esr

Meant to do something about this (probably just enabling WebGL by default) in 153.3.0, but I forgot oop

Come next 153.x I'll disable the WebGL permissions stuff by default, just allow it by default. Not sure what to do about uBlock though.

For the other issue with page info I may just hardcode the names and whatever so other languages aren't full on broken.
