- Look-and-feel: defines how the widgets are rendered. It should remain on the default platform-neutral look "Web Look And Feel"
- Native Window Decoration: if unchecked, window title-bars and borders are also rendered by the selected look-and-feel. This can alleviate an issue where windows become larger than the screen size on small screen systems.
-
SuperCollider (scsynth): The path to the SuperCollider server application. The special entry
<SC_HOME>will use a default location (for example on Linux) or read an environment variable namedSC_HOMEto determine the path. Clicking on the button...opens a dialog where you must select the SuperCollider server applicationscsynth(Linux, Mac) orscsynth.exe(Windows). On the Mac, you have have to navigate _inside the SuperCollider.app bundle, since in newer versionsscsynthis found inSuperCollider.app/Contents/Resources`. - Input channels / output channels: The number of hardware sound-card channels used. This does not have to match the actual number of channels on your sound-card, but you won't be able to play audible sound on more output channels than specified here.
- Sample rate: If zero, uses the current sample rate of the sound card. If specified (in Hz, e.g. 44100 or 48000), tries to switch the sample-rate of the sound-card when SuperCollider is booted
- Block size: size of a control block in SuperCollider. Defaults to 64. The control signal rate equals the sample-rate divided by the block-size. Smaller values give more precise control signal movements but require more processing power.
- Private channels: Total number of bus channels for routing signals inside the server application.
- Wire buffers: Maximum number of concurrent UGen interconnections with a Synth.
- Real-Time Memory: Size of the pre-allocated memory used for UGens such as
Delay. - Headphones Bus: Currently not used in SysSon
- Sensor section: Currently not used in SysSon
- Database Lock Timeout: Pertains to the database transactional memory.
